Elliot's Story
When I was 13, I wasn’t particularly athletic and found myself in the lower teams of most sports I played. But I loved training hard and was determined to improve. By Year 11, I had become the top athlete at my school, and all the hard work had finally paid off. I loved competing at the highest level I could, and sport became a huge part of my life.
That all changed in an instant. One day, while pushing through symptoms of overtraining, I went into the weight room and suffered an accident that turned a minor overuse injury into a burst disc and fractured spine. I couldn’t walk properly for months, and I was sidelined from all sport for over two years. I spent thousands of dollars on physio and treatments, along with hundreds of hours on rehabilitation, yet no one could give me clear answers on why I wasn’t getting better or how I could have prevented this from happening in the first place.
What I Discovered
Through years of studying, earning my Degree, and completing courses in strength training, I learned two critical lessons:
1. I was training hard in my sport but had a weak, fragile frame because I never built proper strength in the gym.
2. When I finally started lifting weights, I skipped the foundational strength work to catch up with my peers—leading to serious injury.
It really is as simple as this:
If an athlete doesn’t lift weights properly, no matter their skill level, they will eventually experience injuries.
Where am I now?
Since my injury, I shifted my focus to strengthening my body in the gym, and it completely transformed my athletic career. I went on to become a multiple state and national champion, a university national champion across multiple sports, and now, I’m chasing my dream of becoming an Olympian. Today, I compete pain-free and train as much as I want without the fear of injury holding me back. Through this journey, I became fully qualified in strength and conditioning, and now, I help other athletes and everyday people achieve the same kind of remarkable recovery and athletic transformation that I experienced.
What I’m Hoping to Achieve With You*
My goal is simple: to create an exceptional strength and conditioning programme that helps young athletes train smarter, perform better, and enjoy their sport without being sidelined by injuries.
Most personal training sessions cost over $100 per hour and don’t provide the energy or camaraderie of training with a team. That’s why I offer group-based sessions at just $15 each—making expert coaching more accessible, and allowing athletes to build strength, prevent injuries, and thrive in a fun, team-focused environment.
Why This Matters
- Fewer injuries = less money spent on physios, tape, massages, and painkillers
- More time on the court = more fun and better performance
- Strength training done right = a stronger, more athletic body built for success
This is an investment in your or your child’s longevity in sport. Instead of spending money on injury recovery, invest in injury prevention. If you would like to speak to me further about strength and conditioning call me on +61487900574.
*Please Note: Participation in strength and conditioning sessions is entirely optional and offered as an additional service, independent of your club membership. These sessions are not covered under the club’s insurance policy, and members take part at their own risk. We encourage all participants to consider their personal health and consult a healthcare professional if unsure about their readiness for physical activity.
