Dust off those kneepads, here is your first chance to get on the court for the year!
New and returning players of all ages and experience levels are welcome for some friendly games. Our coaches will help teams who are looking for players and players who are looking for teams find each other!

Wednesday 3rd February, 7.30-9.30pm – Adult Mixed Social Training recommences

Social training for new and existing members. This training is now targeted for players aged 17 years and above.

Thursday 4th February, 6.15-7.45pm – Junior Social Training
Cromer Community Centre
A new addition to our schedules this year after a fantastic turn out of players to our Wednesday Social Training sessions last year! This training is targeted for new and existing members aged 16 years and under who are looking to improve and develop their foundation volleyball skills.

Thursday 9th February, 7.45pm – Autumn Thursday Social Comp begins
Cromer Community Centre
Week 1 of our Thursday social competition. Following the success from the end of last season after coming back from the COVID lockdown the competition has moved from a 'mixed' format to 'open' format, with no restrictions on maximum or minimum of each gender.

Additionally, the new requirement of the duty team is to provide a 1st referee, 2nd referee and 1 scorer. This will help to ensure we maintain minimum numbers in the venue and allow for physical distancing rules to be followed.

Sunday 7th of February, 5.30pm - Autumn Sunday Social Comp begins
Northern Beaches Indoor Sports Centre
Week 1 of our Sunday social competition. To ensure the safety of our members and players, for this season's competition the duty team will provide an additional player to ensure all attending players are signing in to the venue using the QR code and performing the appropriate hygiene measures.

A weekly Open Court will be operating for those that want an extra hit, looking for teams or wanting to transfer their skills from a training to a game environment! Sunday night Open Court will be offered from Sunday 7th February, 5.30pm. Book in your spot here! 

Sunday 7th February, 4.00pm – Autumn Junior Program commences
Northern Beaches Indoor Sports Centre
Week 1 of our Junior Program. This program is for under 19s to integrate their skills into a game situation in a friendly environment. We have updated to an online booking system for this program.

PLEASE NOTE: There has been a change to the form format for social competitions. We now require each individual player's State Volleyball registration number which can be found by logging in to: http://www.nswvolleyball.com/. Players without a registration number will be unable to take the court. Please make sure all players in your team are correctly registered with State Volleyball and MWVA.
