Juniors
MWVA offers two primary pathways for juniors interested in playing volleyball. Our goal is to help our junior players grow and develop their skills and support them in being selected for representative teams, the Volleyball NSW Phoenix Programs and beyond! We have several alumni junior players that are now playing internationally! We also foster a family-friendly environment and welcome parents who also want to get involved.
JUNIOR SOCIAL TRAINING
Junior social training is for players aged 16 years and younger, held on Monday nights at the Cromer Community Centre from 7pm - 8:30pm.
This is targeted at those new to the sport or those wanting to further develop their skills and is $160 for a 10 week term or $15 per session.
We have a capacity of 20 players for each training session and you can book online soon! If the date doesn't show up on the calendar, that means that the session is booked out for that week, however, you can book ahead for future sessions.
Sessions for Term 4 2024 start at Cromer Community Centre on Monday, 14th October 2024.
Please note that all participants in Social Training must be registered with Manly Warringah Volleyball. Click here to find out more info.
Bookings open 29th September 2024 !
JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
We also run a junior program on Sunday nights at the Northern Beaches Indoor Sports Centre (NBISC) from 4pm-5.30pm for players with a little more volleyball experience. This is a term-based program, running for 10 weeks during each school term. This program is suitable for players aged under 19 years, who want to learn and develop their skills in a friendly game environment. There is more opportunity for game time and opportunities to fill in for junior or senior teams who are needing players for the Sunday social competition.
Booking your place in the program is essential and can be completed online.
Sessions for Term 4, 2024 start at NBISC on Sunday, 13th October 2024.
